The exterior is in pretty
good shape. It is a fiberglass shell with no cracks or bad blemishes.
It does have some sun fading and the molding strip shows some
rust color on it. When we bought it, all the tires had many tiny
cracks on them. One was a lot worse, but we did make it home on
it. All the tires have since been replaced, (ca-ching).
The outside storage helps
a lot in hauling all the stuff for camping. The middle outside
compartments have the generator on the left side and the propane
tank on the right side. The left rear has the utility hookups
in it. The awning is in pretty good shape and a welcome relief
from the sun.
The living area includes
a sofa that makes into a bed. This is where Sara sleeps. The TV
works and is connected to a VCR/DVD combo unit in one of the overhead
cabinets. There is a curtain that goes across the front for privacy
at night.
The kitchen area includes
the usual items; sink, stove, refrig/freezer, and combo microwave/convection
oven. The vent above the stove has been sealed off by a previous
owner. We don't know if they decided a noisy flap while traveling
to bad enough to do that or what. There seems to a good amount
of storage, but we will see if that is enough when we stock up
for the trip.
The rear includes a "queen-sized"
bed. Although it is queen width, the length is a few inches short
which causes Jerry's feet to hang over some. We now have a LCD
TV above the TV shelf in the bedroom. The shelf now holds a DVD
player. The bathroom is adequate in size, but not real roomy.
So far, we have used the shower for extra storage while traveling
and not for showers.
The dashboard includes a
rear view monitor system. The CB has been very entertaining at
times and helpful when an accident closed a freeway. The seat
is pretty comfy.
Overall, we like it, are
comfortable in it, and think we got a good deal.
